James Herman- Co-founder, Executive Director
James, a native of the Chicagoland area, comes to the New Orleans Tool Lending Library from the St Bernard Project where he was the warehouse manager. He is also currently helping Lowernine.org as a Project Manager.

Mike McNamara- Co-founder, Board Chair
Mike, a native of Rochester NY, was the supervisor of the HandsOn New Orleans Tool Lending Library. He also worked as an Electrician for the St. Bernard Project, an environmental educator in Brooklyn, NY and as a Bartender in Kenmare, Ireland among many other jobs. He an ordained minster in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and currently serves as the Pastor of the Amite-Arcola Presbyterian Church in Amite, LA.
